I don't understand why,
people wish you a "happy new year"
before January 1st ever happens.

I don't understand why,
people don't show their friends love through out the year
Why we have to have holidays to give gifts

I don't understand why,
every where I turn
there are people trying to copy the person next to them

I don't understand why,
People only care about the surface of others
It really bugs me

I don't understand why,
Music effects the world like it does,
but even classical has the same effect

I don't understand why,
I can't just accept the world like it is

I don't understand why,
there is war in the world

I don't understand why,
I don't want to grow up
Yet know I am

Life is beautiful
Live it up
Don't run away from the things you love
But make it known you love them
And stick with it.
You've been blessed with another year coming up.
I know I have.
It's never to late to change.
Never to late to change your mind.
